The Kid

The kid that appears as a little viking in all his videos is supposed to be himself. The entire album is about "transition", and tells a story about a kid that has to grow up and learns to become a man, losing all his innocence. Yoann himself said in an interview that "the Golden Age is over", meaning that his days as a kid, when every little thing was a whole new adventure, are finished. In my opinion, Woodkid succeeds in transmitting the melancholic feeling of remembering childhood
